I saw the interview in which he made that statement, and I'm certain she either chose to take the comment out of context or made a presumption. Personally, I might have the same opinion were Sean Hill or another older player the person going to the Flyers, but Markov is just entering his prime. I that respect, I don't know if the comparison to the Rangers is warranted (actually, I can't think of too many worthwhile young guys the Rangers have given up, rather payroll they've absorbed). Ultimately, I'll be suprised if this trade doesn't end up being rather trivial.

Either way, it's up to the reader to make up one's mind, right?

Don't make me start singing "Why Can't We Be Friends" by War. I'll do it (and it won't be pretty).

Ricky Nelson's "Garden Party" might be more appropriate, because it seems that Clarke would have been criticized for standing pat or trading. It's not a job for the thin-skinned, for sure.
