Jones is a product. So, is Scrivens. And for that matter, so is Talbot.

When a team like the Kings play like they do in front of Jones/Scrivens, it would be embarrassing if they didn't put up those numbers.

Just like if Talbot had bad numbers when the Rangers normally put up a stellar defensive effort, and try and shelter him, it would be embarrassing.

Most goalies today are products of their system. There is a reason every season scrub goaltenders are setting records and why the avg SV% in the league has shot through the roof in recent years. You don't need to spend much on a goaltender to create a competitive team. As long as you have top notch defense men, and a solid group of forwards who understand the importance of two way play, than you'll have a great team.

I wouldn't want Scrivens or Jones. You can put just about any NHL goaltender on the Kings, or any high level AHL goaltender on the Kings, and they would have impressive numbers.
