"Matt Read will not play tonight at Colorado. He has an upper-body injury and remains day to day," said Holmgren.

Read, who did not skate with the team in the morning, appeared in 6:24 of ice-time, taking only seven shifts before leaving in the first period on Tuesday in the Flyers' 4-1 win at Calgary.
