I've been saying this for at least 30 games. There's not enough good skating defensemen on the team to not have at least one forward on each line that can effectively skate the puck into the opposing zone. Only Giroux and Voracek are really good at it and Matt Read is the next best. Simmonds loves to skate the puck in, but his one man dump and chase routine usually only works about 3 times a game.

That's why I'd break up Giroux and Voracek. They're pretty predictable even strength and they'd really spread around the only two elite skilled puck carriers on the team. Lecavalier, Simmonds, Hartnell, and Schenn can all be effective goal scorers, but none of them are great at skating the puck up the ice. It just seems like a waste of their strengths when you have them all playing together.
