Talbot has played well enough. But he has also let in his fair share of soft goals, despite his excellent numbers.

And what I said rings true for most Talbot starts. He gets in after the team completely falls apart in front of Lundqvist, and the team tightens up and allows mostly perimeter shots in net.

Than AV is convinced it's Talbots top level of play that is the reason for his numbers. And we wonder why Lundqvist has confidence issues.

Lundqvist's numbers need to be taken in context with how good the team has looked in front of him. Talbot's do too because of how well the team has generally played in front of him.
