Here in Ottawa, there is a very sick little boy named Shane. He has been in isolation at CHEO (children's hospital of eastern ontario) for over a year while battling his second time with cancer. He's seven years old and is not doing so well.
Shane has always wanted to see the world. His story aired yesterday morning on a local music radio station here, Kiss fm, as well as the 6 o clock evening news on the local CTV station (CJOH).
His birthday is May 30th, but it's not looking good for him. He loves lego, hockey and sports, and building things.

There are cards coming in from Russia, Sweden, Singapore, Japan, and the United States, but none from the New York Region at all, somehow.
I want to get a smile on this little boy's face by bringing the world to him.
The only think we're looking for is for people to mail cards addressed to him at my address, given on the website above. It can be anykind of cards: Christmas, Valentine's, Birthday, Greetings, store-bought or home-made.
I'm trying to collect cards for Shane from all over the world, and deliever them personally to him on my birthday, the end of Feb. This little guy deserves to get all the love the world can give.
