I agree. I have a lot more hope for Nieves to become a second, third or fourth line player then for MSC to do anything. That said, give him one more year.

Callahan would've landed in the ECHL had he not been an oversee in the OHL, and he is our Cajun. Different players, of course, but it isn't impossible to study in the ECHL and land in the NHL. His ceiling is high enough to hold out hope. I think if he makes it as a top-6 offensive center in Hartford next season, he will be viewed as a good prospect.
