Had lacebite that was getting worse with every game until I changed the way I laced up. I lace snug in the forefoot, then from my instep upwards I lace really tight all the way to the top (wear Grafs). I then bend down a bit as if you are in the skating stance so my knees move forward which loosens the top laces - from here I tie the knot so there is a little bit of a gap with less pressure on the top of your foot/ankle area.

Been lacing like this ever since and had no more issues with lacebite.
