I think Skapski is being undersold a bit. He's having a good year behind a mediocre-at-best Kootenay squad. He's looked solid the few times I saw him, and is coming off a December where he posted a .929 SV% in nine games while facing 35 shots per game. He has a chance for a Cam Talbot-like progression through the system.

There's a really good chance that both Missiaen and Stajcer are gone after this season, at which point the door is open for Skapski to earn a contract and a role in Hartford.


It's just pain.
