I think Markov and Timander have both played well. Come playoff time we will all be happy with this trade. Williams is a nice player, but I really like what I am seeing from Sharp as well. The articles right after the trade talked about how Sharp was ready to replace Williams have the potential to be true once Amonte and Kapanen return to the lineup.

Did anyone else notice the lines Hitch was using in the third to try and generate some offense:

Gagne/Roenick/Comrie
Leclair/Handzus/Recchi
Brashear/Primeau/Somik
Fedoruk/Sharp/Law

If you just take Kapanen and Amonte and put them with Sharp on the current 4th line, you could have scoring all the way through the lineup except maybe Primeau's line. If Somik is going to play, he is best used in a checking role. I would replace him with Fedoruk, but that is just me.
