You are right, he's very balanced on his skates, makes him very hard to knock off the puck. And everyone knows his wrist shot is deadly, but it is his ability to deke that amazes me these days...the Kovalev-like effort I mentioned, well it also comes with the Kovalev like hands. He can turn the stick over like nothing, same with Grabovski, they both have such great command of the puck. I wouldn't say his passing game is "phenomenal" but he's above average in that area of the game, but it's not what's going to make him a star in the NHL (or at least stick with the team).
