The Powerplay

We all know the powerplay is not as good as their ranking and on Blueshirt Bulletin they posted a very interesting fact of how the powerplay has cost this team many games:
"The power play has contributed directly to 13 of the team's 25 wins, less than half. But 15 close games have been lost in which the power play was scoreless or held to just one goal despite enough advantages to win or tie those games. If the Rangers' power play had been able to secure just one-third of those 30 lost points, they would be vying for a home playoff seed or maybe even a division title instead of facing long odds for post-season qualification two-thirds the way into the season. One power play goal every five games -- that's the difference. And that doesn't even take into account the points that might have been lost by playoff rivals in those game. Or the positive cascade effect of pulling some of those games out vs. the negative effect of losing them."

Now I know that's a lot of what-if's, but it's clearly a reason we are out of the playoffs right now. It's been talked about and talked about but it really wouldn't kill Renney to shake things up (even though he won't).

Roszival-Rachunek

Avery-Shanahan-Prucha
Pock-Cullen

One line that will pass too much and one line that will probably score and actually execute when we need to.
