Regardless of how you arrange these guys, if you let all the RFA's go and sign some able bodied size and ability to fill the holes next year, this team could be competitive.

Hall - RNH - Yakupov
Perron - XXX - Eberle
XXX - Gordon - XXX
Hendricks - XXX - Pitlick

Marincin - Petry
Ference - Schultz

Scrivens/XXX <- tandem

That #2C spot is a big decision, needs to be a bigger smooth skating, 2-way puck distributing guy if possible.

As far as Eakins goes, I think he's learned a lot this year as well and is adjusting accordingly. I say give him another season to see if he can right this ship and make a decision then. The last thing these guys need right now is yet another new head coach IMO.

Edit: I also still think it would be nice to try dropping one of the top six down to the 3rd line and try to attack with the top 9.
