I would say that's overpayment from Montreal's perspective. Lalime's value has plummeted this year, and while Havlat is having a decent year, a contract holdout is rarely a feather in the cap. Havlat's value is much higher than Dagenais', however. That being said, Theodore is the key to this deal. He is having another great season, and while I wouldn't say he is the best after Brodeur (which is like being the Buzz Aldrin of goaltending anyway), he is certainly a top tier goaltender.
