OK, yeah I mean you don't need to follow those instructions to the letter, but close enough is good enough. Don't put any weight on your feet when they're molding.

Best if you have someone help form them around your feet. I like to focus on the forefoot to make sure the boot is nicely wrapped around, like (__), as well as the ankles and squeeze the heel in. Sit with feet slightly behind knees to form a deeper heel pocket.
