Yep. Cross country is like the track and field of the Winter Olympics. Medals and events by the dozens.

Like I've said before the one men's downhill race means more, is more memorable, higher profile etc, then all the cross country put together.

But downhill doesn't have 25 different lengths of hill events, doesn't have stops to shoot turkeys, cook meatballs, etc.
