The question is the view of him. Do you view him as a #4 defenseman on basically any team in the league? If not, and a team is willing to give you 2 pair value in a trade, then you move him. I think that he offers fantastic value given that he was scooped off of the refuse pile, but that he is not someone that I would completely be at ease with as the #4 defenseman. And if he is a third pairing defenseman, then he needs to be paid like one.

Like I said, he is both underrated and overrated at the same time. But I do not believe that he is an integral part of the future. Definitely not the long-term and probably not the short-medium term.
