According to Sportsnet, MacInnis is still iffy on the season. He doesn't have enough peripheral vision to play and his depth perception right now is practically nonexistant. His left eye had to have the lens removed and a new one was inserted, and it's apparently really foggy to see out of that eye right now. His right eye had some retina tightening surgery but nothing big.
So basically it's a wait and see process on his left eye to see if he can play again. I personally hope his career doesn't end in injury, even though I'm not a Blues fan.
