Being in Canada, TSN only covered the last half of Richter's speech, I missed everything before that!! Does anyone have it taped or is there a link to watch it again. PM me if you do. Thanks

Back to the point at hand. Richter was my second favorite player behind Leetch. I cannot remember a goalie with such outstanding flexibility as Mikey. He could do the splits and be back on his feet in a second!! I agree with a previous poster that if Mikey would have been on a team that had a solid defensive system in place (like the Devils or Wings) or a team that played as a team (Colorado), Mikey would be around 450-500 wins. For him to get 301 wins in a Ranger uniform is saying how great he really was!!! Watching # 35 being raised to the rafters last night brought tears to my eyes nowing that I will never see a more professional, classy world class athelete not only in a Ranger Uniform but in the NHL period. Once again, THANK YOU MIKE RICHTER!!!

Maybe they can convince him to come back as a goalie coach!!!
