And just to be clear.

I like the guy. He's one of the few UFA's that we have signed in recent years that has come in and performed up to expectations.

He hasn't dogged it, and he hasn't exceeded what was expected. He's come in and produced what we expected him to produce.

Same thing with Gaborik. We signed him to be a goal scorer and he came in and in 2 of three seasons scored goals. He did not perform above expectations, but he did not disappoint either.

The sad part is that we have been conditioned as a fan base that when a guy comes in and does his job he's looked at as exceeding expectations.

Poo hasn't done that.

And It's not so much that Poo is being replaced with a better 3rd liner.

It's that we are looking to acquire a top line LW slotting Kreider on the 2nd line and Hagelin on the 3rd line....Hagelin who happens to be better then Poo.

Failing the ability to improve the top line LW, bringing back Poo would not be a bad decision.
