That said, Stalberg with Gaustad and Clune or other 4th line fill ins is NOT going to enhance his game. Nobody to keep up with his speed, no one to feed him the puck, no one good in the transition game. Just about the only way that helps his game is if Gaustad makes it in front of the net to bang home one of his rebounds. Unfortunately, Gaustad is too slow to keep up.

Poor line chemistry.

Granted, Stalberg hasn't been very effective, irregardless of his line. Then again, he hasn't been given that much of a chance to develop chemistry on a new team, new system, and once healthy. Keep in mind he missed TC time with a groin injury and his TOI initially suffered accordingly.

I am not convinced Trotz knows how to use Stalberg's style of play. He is an attacking forward, not a matchup based defensive forward.

Just my 2 cents ...
