well then here's a better way of putting it. At age 34/35 while Mark Messier was captain of this team he wouldn't have to be asked he would DEMAND to go out there for the shootout if they had existed at the time. Yes Jagr is out there as much as he can be but it's like Fletch said- if you want to win you step up when the game is on the line you don't turn your head away from your coach who's asking you to go out and try to win the game or keep the game going.
