My answer to the post question....yes.

I rarely agree with the guys at 110%, but I feel this time Michel Villeneuve hit the nail on the head. We already have that big winger, Hossa. It is just that Hossa doesn't seem like he wants the job, or isn't willing to earn it.

Bottom line, we could imporve the Habs in many areas, but you have to pick your spots.

Is it the right time in our development as a team, to give up on a prospect to make a run at the playoffs? Who do we give up?

If BG feels that he is one player away from going deep (not first round) into the playoffs, then he will make the calls, and maybe another GM will be interested in what he offers.

In other words, don't kill the team long term to get 1 inch further short term.
