Bro, Kovalev from the 90's and Kovalev from the 00's are two COMPLETELY different players.

He's always lacked consistency, but he used to play at full speed...now he plays at half speed...he slows the game down, slows his line down. He doesn't fit in with our system, or our players. Look how Samsonov and Plekanec have done without him.
