In regards to what the scouts did with their mocks, I like the Rangers taking Honka, but not so much on Perlini. Not knocking the guy because he is good, but I'm just not that entirely convinced on how he'll develop.

It seems that signs are pointing for Barbashev to drop a bit and my sources are the mock drafts on the mock draft page and this link that the NHL scouts did (http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=710956) so it's basically pure speculation. But if this is the case, do we make a play for him? Very solid player who does play the North American game. I don't think there's a doubt in my mind that he bolts to Russia and loves to be physical. He says that here in this interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vot7FQ8RpJE). If he slips, I would seriously want the Rangers to think about who they can get out of a player like that. A line of Barbashev and Buchnevich in the future maybe?

I'd say that we should really look toward drafting one of (or more of ) Tuch, Milano, Larkin, Honka, Barbashev, Scherbak, Kempe, Goldobin, Pastrnak, Ehlers (top 10 for sure), McCann, or Ritchie in the 1st. Make this one count boys.
