Right now Lundqvist is 5 games over .500%, and Montoya is only 4 games over .500%, since win-loss record is the most important thing to you, why would you want to bring him up? Sorry to break the news to you but Lundqvist has been the best goalie in the NHL for about 2-3 months now, and if you think he is the team's problem there is something seriously wrong with you.
Wins and Losses mean very little because it's a team sport and he has no input on the offense. He could let up only one goal per game the entire season, but if they get shutout 82 games he'll wind up with an 0-82 record.
Let's say a goalie on the Oilers in the early 80's (for example), won every game 10-9 and finished the season with a 9.00 GAA and a .250 save percentage would he be a great goalie to you because of his win-loss record?
How many times has Lundqvist lost a 1-0 game or a 2-1 game this year?? I know he lost atleast 2 games 1-0 (while stopping approx. 29 out of 30 shots).
