Considering the fact that Sather has not done one iota to help the Rangers, saying that Millbury has done more than Sather is not really saying much. There is not doubt that Millbury has made some moves that have helped the Isles. However, lossing Bertuzzi, Mcabe, Brewer, Redden, Chara, Spezza, and one of Gaborik or Heatly can only be viewd as disastrous. Jokinen may have just needed more time to develop. Saddling the team w/ an absolutely unmoveable contract and player in Cashin is not to be commended. And no matter what your views are on Ricky D, the fact of the matter is that Luongo is already one of the best goalies in the league. It is highly questionable that Ricky will EVER be as good as Luongo.
So, overall, I think that Millbury has done far more harm than good. You are allowed your opinion, off course. HOwever, given the above names, the Isles could have been an absolute powerhouse to rival any team in the East. Instead they compete annually for the 8th spot and the right to get bounced in the first round.
