They may look the same on paper with the exception of a few people, but I rather have the same team then tinker with it every year. When you keep a team together they become a family, they learn together and make steps together. Have the Devils changed tremendously over the past few years? Nope, the key players are still there and so are the third and fourth liners.
Needless to say, I agree 100%. On paper, in the standings and record-wise, the Isles are basically the same team as the last two seasons. But the experience and their play over the last 2+ months suggests otherwise. Sure they can get knocked out in Round One (assuming they make it), and odds are they would. But this is a different team than previous versions.
