I agree, there is a difference in character and it's very apparent. I wouldn't put Markov on that list though. He's very intelligent and has plenty of character.
Ribeiro, though he seems to be a bit of a bootlicker and is very demonstrative and arrogant as is the case of many of his generation of athletes, must have worked his tail off to get where he is now. He is just young, I wouldn't judge him so harshly, he's had to scrap tooth and nail to get where he is and I admire that, it's a great accomplishment what he's done.
Hossa and Hainsey lack work ethic thus far from what I can see, but again, maybe they just haven't caught up to their bodies yet. I don't like the flaws I see in both of their games, but we have to give them every chance because you never know when a player will suddenly "get it".
