I doubt ESPN would cut into a college basketball game for hockey news. Anyway, if the trade is done, I'm sure both parties are trying their best to keep it secret until Monday. The NHL discourages announcing trades or other transactions over the break. My guess is that the GM meetings in Las Vegas will be the key to finalizing whatever deal may be close.
