Maybe Clarke traded for Comrie because he thought that he would contribute this season. Maybe he thought that Comrie had more trade value that Woywitka and a 1st and was looking to acquire someone who he could trade for a goalie. We don't know what Clarke was thinking when he got Comrie. But Clarke knows that he has to make a run for a cup now, because in 2 years, he will still have centers, but the other core players on this team will be retired.

Thats fine, but the point is if your going to trade Comrie to make a run at the cup, get a better goalie.
