This is basically the season right here. The Islanders are chomping at the bits with their prospects to deliver the knockout punch to the Rangers. That's what many Rangers fans fear.

However, as I mentioned in the autograph signing event thread I just posted, I told both Ryan Hollweg and Jed Ortmeyer to go beat the crap out of Islanders, please.

Yeah, the Islanders won the first four meetings, but there is no way this trend will continue. I believe that the Rangers know exactly what is at stake and how they must bring their "A" game tomorrow night and especially on Thursday when they're on enemy ice. And screw the 10-15% of Islanders fans that show up at MSG. It's our house and it's time the Rangers faithful rock the house as the home team beats the Long Island Fishsticks. When the Blueshirts go to Nassau Coliseum, they must play their best hockey of the season to beat a surging Islanders hockey club and put a hurt on their playoff chances.
