Claude Noel's value to the Preds organization...

In keeping up with the Sabres threads, and having watched the Ads for Claude's whole tenure, a thread topic there caught my eye...Apparently on HNIC, Don Cherry was talking of Amerks coach Randy Cunneyworth as being the best coach in the AHL that is 'next' to deserve a shot at the NHL...
Lindy Ruff (Sabres head coach) was asked if he thought Randy was 'up for a shot' at the NHL...he quipped, "Gosh, I hope not."
That got me thinking...Claude's won cups in the ECHL (Toledo), the AHL (the Ads), and was in the finals last season. I wonder what Preds players, staff, and fans would say in a response to Claude 'getting a shot' in the NHL (elsewhere)...
Is Claude as important to Poile/Trotz/the Preds as the Sabres organization seems to think Cunneyworth is?
