Checkers won yesterday evening in Charlotte to beat the 1st place Everblades in OT 5-4. Bruce Graham socred his 30th, and Lee potted the game-winner in OT. Constant and Ouellette added assists and Pikkarainen had 2 primary helpers. Holt had 35 saves for the win.

This win puts the Checkers in 5th place in the division, which is the final playoff spot. Their record is 30-21-1-2. They have 2 pts and 2 games in hand on 6th place South Carolina.
