If Val-d'Or can win, he'll also get to play in the Memorial Cup next month.
Greenville beat Kalamazoo last night to win their first round series. Next they play the Wheeling Nailers. Interestingly, in the ECHL's Eastern Conference, the 1-4 seeds all lost to the 5-8 seeds. Greenville won as the 7 seed. Even in the Western Conference, the 2 and 3 seeds went down. Playoffs, man...
Not sure but do the AHL clubs callup ECHL players for the playoffs, taking away some of the top ECHL players? Could be why so many top seeds don't look it come playoff time.
Great news for Graves though, that is an amazing game 7 win, Bibeau looks like a 6th round steal for the Leafs.
Not so sure Baie Comeau is void of stars - Gregoire, Hudon, Zykov are all legit prospects and Gorbunov, Vanier and Cadorette are hot future draftees/FA's.
