The only thing I've seen Fridge do since he was a Flyer was dump the puck and fight, I don't see how his play has improved. The only thing he has improved on is # of stupid penalties per game. I like him in the organization but he should play aginst the rougher teams and that's about it. He won't be an integral part of our offensive or defensive game. He will only generate powerplays for the other team.
What we need are 3 Claude Lapointe's for a 4th line, SOB's to play against in both zones. Guys who will work you in the corners, chop and whack at you and give you no space to work with. The grind line for Detroit is an example. Somik Lapointe and 1 more guy is perfect .
