Sorry, guys...

I went to the game tonight, and that was more of an indictment of how piss poor the Debbies were tonight than any accomplishment on the Rangers' part. It was a game the was almost painful to watch and certainly difficult on the eyes. I couldn't even count how many times the front of the net was open and no Debbie could finish. Purinton and Poti in particular were horrid. DeVries was the best d-man out there, and even he was up the ice too much for my liking. I thought the best two players were Dunham and Jed, with the kid line playing well overall. The Nedved line was invisible and the Holik line did little themselves. Most of the time, the defensive zone coverage was brutal. A quality offensive team, (which the Devils right now are not), would have abused the Rangers tonight. And for the Purinton fans, sorry, but, he cannot skate at the pro level.
