There's no comparison injury wise (fortunately for Hossa's sake). Kloucek blew out his ACL as well as his MCL. The MCL can heal on its own, but when you have a complete tear in the ACL the only way to fix it is through reconstructive surgery (MSG showed Kovalev's surgery inbetween periods, it was fasinating), which takes 4-6 months to get back on the ice (except of course the amazing Ozolinsh--whoever cleared him so early should have his license pulled). Hossa has a moderate sprain, he should be back on the ice in another 3 weeks.
