Rest of the way

Here are two posts I threw in the specualtion thread, I thought it could be useful here with only 10 left for the Rangers:

LAST 10:

HOME Pens
HOME Flyers
ROAD Bruins
ROAD Islanders
ROAD Canadiens
ROAD Flyers
HOME Leafs
ROAD Islanders
HOME Canadiens
ROAD Pens

Currently the Rangers are at 79 Points.

Somewhere between 89 and 92 points are going to get them in.

For 89 Points theyll need 10 more points. - 5-5
For 90 Points theyll need 11 more points. - 5-4-1
For 91 Points theyll need 12 more points. - 6-4
For 92 Points theyll need 13 more points. - 6-3-1

Basically its 5 or 6 wins over the last 10. The way the Rangers have been playing they have a really good chance, but its the teams they beat which will be the most important. The teams in RED are the teams around them they really need to beat.

2 points tonight would really put them in a good position.

REST:

Tampa Bay - 9 Gms Left
7 Home / 2 Away • Four 2-day rest periods • 2 Back to Back Games

Carolina - 9 Gms Left
5 Home / 4 Away • Two 2-day rest periods • 2 Back to Back Games

Islanders - 11 Gms Left
6 Home / 5 Away • Two 2-day rest periods • 3 Back to Back Games

Toronto - 10 Gms Left
6 Home / 4 Away • Two 2-day rest periods • 2 Back to Back Games

Montreal - 9 Gms Left
5 Home / 4 Away • Three 2-day rest periods • 1 Back to Back Game

Rangers - 10 Gms Left
4 Home / 6 Away • One 2-day rest period • One 3-day rest period • 2 Back to Back Games

Rangers with the least amount of home games, but they are the only team with a 3 day rest period. Tampas schedule is by far the easiest with 7 at home and Four 2-day rest periods.

The Islanders have the most games left but because of that they have the most back to back games (3)
