There was a small blip after the lockout when scoring went up and people seem to be holding on to it, but it's back down now.
03-04 there were 12 PPG players, 05-06 there were 37, this year there were 13.
If you want to be tougher and limit to players who scored 82 points in a season then in 03-04 there were five, in 05-06 there were 23, and this year there were five again.
