There's no way you can press on the gas all of the time, you're right.
There's also NO EXCUSE for completely letting off of it, therefore, it is the cause.
We lost because Montreal outplayed us in the 2nd period, because we took our foot completely off of the throttle.
Think what you like, but when you take your foot completely off the throttle like that, you're going to lose games, no matter how much you're up by.
