Or they could have the Canadiens and the Canucks play elsewhere. I heard a player say a 2+ season shutdown could be possible. If that is the case, the players could kiss goodbye to $5-10 million a year salaries. Any kind of substantial hockey-less period will cut into fan support and revenues after the play resumes.
