I think the Jets have likely scored their second big win in a row on draft day.

I took a look at the link Garret posted a few days ago:

Now I'm certainly no stats expert so someone please feel free to point out the errors in my simple formula, but I looked at all the top CHL forwards drafted and compared their ranking.

I looked at the top 20 players in 5 categories... (All p/60) (EVp/60) (GF%) (GF% Rel) (EV QoC eTOI%).

I gave them points according to their standing...20 points for first place in the CHL, 19 for second place and so on down to 1 point for 20th.

I focused on P/60 rather than points because of course some players received FAR more ice-time than others and I think it's a fairer comparison.

Here are the results:

Draisaitl: Total of 37 points from the 5 categories.
Bennett: 50
Reinhart: 37
Dal Colle: 3
Virtanen: 11

Ehlers: 85!! yes 85!

And more good news:

De Leo: 37. Nice!
