I agree with MMBT's post. I think for a team to be a dynasty it has to be THE dominate team of its era. The Canadiens of 1976-1979 did that, the Isles followed that up and the Oilers were head and shoulders about the rest. That is not to slight New Jersey, Detroit or even Colorado in anyway, they won their Cups and proved to be great teams.
