Brindy ain't getting any younger and, let's face it, the Flyers are a heck of a lot closer to winnng a Cup than the Canes are.
Now, the 5 mil salary is a huge hurdle. But, Clarke seems hell bent on "going for it" this season, so you never know.
I'm sure Carolina would want to dump his contract, but the question is, what can the Flyers send in return that would a.) be an acceptable return for the Canes and b.) ease the weight of #17's contract?
Again, this isn't likely to happen... but it could.
What do we have left worth giving up?
