Ya, very deceptive size~wise. Hard to believe he was 6' as he was so lithe, wispy. That bent over low skating style of his exacerbated matters further. Impossible to take his full measure at times. Nor did he ever "play big" per se'. Wasnt a physical player by any stretch of the imagination.... whereas you take the 5'7" Yvan Cournoyer, one of my all time favorite players, serious speed combined with the frame of a Hudsons Bay Coureurs de Bois capable of effortlessly carrying over 500lbs on his back all day every day for 23 1/2hrs & twice as much on Sundays........... without breaking a sweat............ legs on him like giant Red Woods... well, Yvan, he played harder & bigger than Big Joe Mufferaw ever dreamed of......
