he was traded for Brooks Laich and a 2005 second rounder. Laich is a former #6 round pick. May not sound like much, but going by stats alone, he's bigger than Lundmark and at the same age, produced better numbers in the WHL than Lundmark, and substantially similar numbers as a 20 year old in the AHL (although Laich is about 6 months younger than Lundmark at that point - meaning the season in which he turned 20, he turned 21 6 months later than the same point in which Jamie was 20). Laich will be 21 in June and has seen limited NHL action.

Not sure if the Laich to Lundmark comparison is fair, but I don't know anything about the kid and wanted to put some other type of value to Laich.
