Hunter has been not only the Isles leading scorer for a while, but also the team leader. When a line is down, they use him to spruce it up.

Raycroft is an amazing story and is understandably getting plenty of accolades.

Pitkanen I have a problem with. He's playing on a team that's had defensive problems all season - Bobby Clarke has been looking for people all the time. Now, most of it is because of injuries, but if that's the case, should not Pit's time be up around the 22:00 mark if he's all that and a bag of chips? He's averaging only 17:00 on the season and his last game was under 18:00. If he's that good, why have they been desperate to get replacements?

Ryder, however, will probably not be nominated, but not because of what he's done or not done, but because of where he is. The Habs only started saying his name at the All-Star break, so he's really only been noticed league-wide since then.

We'll see however; there's still a long way to go.
