I agree. I've followed the draft closely for almost 16 years now, some players are special, but most are hard to define cause they're still transitioning from boy to man. Guys like Girardi who have quiet demeanors on and off the ice slip through the cracks, lucky for him someone somewhere took notice and gave him a shot.
