Well at least weíre through with LA for the year. Man, what is it, they just have our number. It wasnít for a lack of effort tonight I thought, LA clogged up everything in the middle of the ice from Vokounís crease to Huetís crease. There was almost always one or 2 Kings on our players as soon as we touched the puck. And the Kings got to the loose pucks before we could. The officiating was bad. I thought they amended the rules for what was and wasnít a penalty shot. That seemed pretty close to Sullivan having one, or at least a penalty. That first goal was so lucky, bad pass by Walker leading to a bumbling shot by Laperriere and a miss by Vokoun. Oh well, we know we canít win them all so come back, regroup, at home for Minnesota on Thursday.
Even though we lost, still in 6th place since LA has so fewer wins than anyone else.
*What is with all those sticks breaking? I lost count after about 6 of ours broke, sometimes 2 on one shift. I swear, I think the stick companies must be losing money on sticks so they use bad materials and shoddy construction on them so the players will have to buy more and spend more money.
